Buildathon 3.0

With a Vietnamese twist!

Third buildathon. 90 minutes on the clock, and this time the theme has a Vietnamese twist. Solo or teams of up to three. Any stack, any AI tools, but you build from scratch. No previous projects. Demos at the end, best build wins.

Date: Tue, Apr 14
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Venue: Da Nang Blockchain Hub

The theme gets revealed and the clock starts at 4pm sharp. If you're late, you're building with whatever time is left. Use any language, framework, or AI tools you want, that's half the game. The only rule: you build from scratch. No pulling in previous projects.

Bring your laptop, or just your phone if you're a genius. After time's up, everyone demos what they built and the room votes. Entering as a team? One person registers and adds the others as guests.

The winner gets a 90-minute strategy session call with the founders of IMPACT Crew, valued at $345. Over 40 years of combined experience in business, startups, and working with founders. Ninety minutes of that, pointed at your product, your growth, or the marketing you've been avoiding.

I really loved the event. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase relevant skills in today's vibe coding era. I also got to meet fellow programmers—a profession that is itself changing rapidly. Adding a few simple social elements would have been nice, such as a one-sentence self-introduction or a one-sentence request to the group at the end of the meetup. The website and overall organization were easy to use and flawless. I learned a lot (I tried a new agent for the first time, which ended in a grand failure). I'd be happy to participate again.
